Getting them while they’re young
93.3 FM hit commercials or a secular song or something 1/2 way to work this morning so I switched to Radio Disney to see if it had something going on. The song was up-beat…so I kept listening. I survived the commercial break and as I continued to listen I had these thoughts:
- No Christmas Music. Message to the tweens: who needs to be sentimental, think about family or others, or otherwise do anything but try and live in the grove of good feelings.
- “1985″. Message to the tweens: don’t make choices that make your life turn out boring and have you become out of touch with your kids.
- parents doing competitions with their kids. Message to the tweens: parents are only useful if they try and be your friend and do silly things with you.
It’s a very scary world out there. I’m about to have a tween…and she is about to enter a full attack for her heart.
